Christmas orders, deliveries and closures

Christmas is almost upon us, and this year we anticipate the run up to be slightly busier than usual. However, we promise to remain flexible with ordering and deliveries throughout December to ensure that our customer's orders are fulfilled as normal.

Our in-house fleet of vehicles currently provides next-day, 48-hour, pre-scheduled fixed-day & multi-drop deliveries to suit our customer’s individual requirements, which will also apply to Christmas trading. During this busier period, we would encourage our customers to place orders in advance where and if possible.

Caxton will close on Friday, the 22nd December at 2pm and will remain closed until Wednesday, the 27th of December when phone lines and deliveries will resume as normal. Doors will then close to celebrate New Year on Friday, the 29th of December and reopen as normal on Tuesday, the 2nd January 2024.

There will, unfortunately, be no deliveries during the period of closure, however, any orders placed via the answerphone during this time will be processed and completed upon return.

Important dates for the diary

  • The last delivery date before Christmas will be Friday the 22nd of December

  • We will reopen and operate as normal on Wednesday, the 27th of December, until Friday 29th of December

  • Business will resume as usual on Tuesday 2nd of January 2024 when we look forward to the New Year
